I have a loud bass like humming coming from the front of my 2011 Prius v, speeds under 30 it’s hardly noticeable above that it’s way loud. Something rubbing maybe?

Does the pitch change with road speed? Making a I - IV - V musical progression as you drive 30, then 40, then 45?

Can be a bearing (though there would be the same I - IV - V progression with any road-speed-dependent issue, maybe at different pitches).

Really sounds like a wheel bearing. I have a 2010 Prius with 300k, replaced both front wheel bearing hubs at 250k, was the first real maintenance I’d done other than brakes and tune up

check the tire pressure. Does the sound change when you put your foot on the brakes?
