Low Fuel Question

    NO, sorry but it is YOU who is DUMB.
    That number in your other car is just an approximation, and so it the gas gauge.

    I'll bet when that number gets near to zero, there still is two gallons left.
    IF.....you let the Prius go until the light flashes, IT probably will be down to 2 gallons or less too.

    This is OCD at it's worst.

    P.S. I'm pretty sure that about 20 years ago or more that a Federal regulation came out requiring ALL vehicles to have some gas left in the tank when the gauge hits E.
