Guys it seams that my 2010 189k Prius isn't able to pass the 11mph on AV mode, once reaching 11mph I get the "excessive acceleration" message on the display and the engine starts. Weather temps is about 0 Celsius.,AV battery fully charged!
    Any hint's?
    Thanx

At freezing it is going to take a long time to get the engine coolant temperature up to where the computers let you use full EV. (which gets worse MPG anyway)

In stop-and-go city traffic, it is possible the engine coolant temperature may never get warm enough to allow full EV. This is were an engine monitor (ScanGauge and many others) is useful, to display that temperature.
