I was wondering if the 2016 Prius has the ability to resume adaptive cruise control from a dead stop. My 2016 Civic has a feature that is called low speed follow. The adaptive cruise control will bring the car to a full stop. When you want to resume driving you merely depress the accelerator or toggle a switch on the steering wheel. It's a pretty nice feature for suburban driving.

Yes, the cruise control comes to a full stop. This is new for the Prius for the 2016 model year. They didn't offer the adaptive cruise control with full speed control before. You either tap the accelerator or flick the cruise control stalk up to resume cruise control. Same as your Civic.

If your in a bad traffic jamb, and are behind one of those big trucks that go in to the "slow creep" mode instead of stopping, your prius also goes into slow creep. Kinda cool...
