The Low Sulfur Diesel Crisis of 2020 And How To Prevent It - Alternative Energy Stocks

Some of us have talked about the upcoming regulatory change in bunker fuel sulfur content, whcih will require ships on the sea to use lower sulfur fuels.

This article suggests this will be a supply crisis, but I am not so sure about that.

I am hoping the reduced sulfur helps reduce ocean acidification and other acid rain issues. I suppose this change does increase diesel demand. Various other regulations such as ethanol mandates also cause a shift away from gasoline more to diesel production.
