Low Votlage on 12v Battery even with new battery.

    It is a bit more complicated than that.
    As soon as you connect it, some things run and some computer boards fire up.
    So it would be "normal" to see a drop similar to what you saw.

    But a fully charged AGM with no load should read 12.8 at least if it really is fully charged.
    Those readings do not necessarily indicate a problem with the battery itself but might indicate that it isn't getting fully charged.
    Or it had been sitting around for a long time before the readings were taken.
