Finally got the car clean enough to install the Moldings. Sorry about the poor quality photo but wanted to share this before my hellish week at work begins.

Looks awesome! How long did it take? How difficult was it? any tips to ensure prpoer alignment?

Its fairly a straight forward install. I'm exceptionally nuerotic about alignment and fit so I was laying on the ground dry fitting the peices and then getting way forward of the car and looking at the site line to verify the line was straight from one molding to the next. Once I knew exactly how I wanted them only then would I pull the backing off.

I also used a 1 foot straight edge to assure that the front and rear moldings were at same level.

Its an easy install as long as you can lay on the ground and be patient. The adhesive is exceptionally sticky so be certain that you only press where you REALLY want it to go. I have no doubt they will stay on the car for 10 years or more. BTW, I used isoprophyl alcohol as a prep to clean the paint of contaminants.

Thanks... Did you use tape to align them during your dry fitting? These are definately on my list of upgrades... Makes your prius look so... Lexus-ish...

Paul, I did not use tape...I just used a close eye and a straight edge to assure the two peices were in proper alignment.

Really adds to the look of the car. I have always felt the 3 looked plain! But that smartens it up. H

Looks great, and the care you took with the install is apparent.

Now you've motivated me to put my set on -- they've been sitting here a little while while I did other things.

I used painters tape to hold & align the moldings in position as I don't know if I would have had a steady enough hand to do without it;). Came out as straight as can be. The trickiest part is once u peel off, make sure u have it in the right position because it's hard to take off & even if u could, I imagine it will compromise the adhesion to less effect. Here's my result:)

These look great, I like the look on the red where the trim color matches the rims.

These were one of the first things I added and I love them on my Prius. It took me 30 minutes to properly clean lightly heat up and line up. I am very good with hands and eyes so did not use anything to line it up but it you did would not add much time. Think they add value to any Prius
