Alright got the fronts done pretty easy, now for the rears and spacers... as for the spacers any info on how to press these in?

How much did you lower it ? I lowered my '99 camry with coilovers awhile back. Half the bolts were seized and needed to be torched off. The newer car shouldn't be a problem though. Makes sure to post some pics I'd be interested to see it. I only had a breaker bar and did it by myself. Took nearly 10 hours total.

Btw are u using the spacers because of wide rims ? Make sure you are using longer wheel bolts as well bc you will compromise the secure wheel fitment if they are not longer

I finish the job in less than 3 1/2 hours by myself not to bad... the rear probably took like 20 mins one bolt and a fat guy...lol I wanted to take pics and do a write up but it was soooo cold out that I didn't have the motivation. But if anyone needs help just PM...

I didn't do the spacers yet due to the cold weather.... that's tomorrows job. Thanks for the heads up on the spacers I got the ichiba and they come with extended bolts.

May I ask why you're installing the spacers? Are you putting the stock wheels back?

I got a set of volk ce28 17x8 +44 and the front is flush but the back sits in a tad so with the 10mm I'll be at 17x8 +34 which I heard is flush so we will see. It's more of a look that I'm going for, not necessary...

The reason I asked is - it is a bit strange to install spacers in a new set of wheel.

Please post pictures, it is beautiful set of wheels.

You probably want to get used to swapping suspension because your stock shocks will most likely blow up with 20K miles on just lowering springs

HAHA this is temporary buddy  coil-overs for the 2010 prius is not something I can get next day ship..... Try getting my sister who leaves in roppongi hills,Tokyo to get me a set but she's being a pain. In the mean time this will have to due until I head back. unless u can advise me a company that makes aftermarket shocks for 2010 prius?

I find the pruis more expensive and parts even more hard to come by than my old E46 M3 unless u are sc24vr6:D Patient is key, gotta let the hybrid scene catch up here in the states.

Pics are coming I just gotta get tires for the wheels.

Coilovers are nice, but they are a pain in the nice person in terms of maintenance. I had the adjustable shock/spring compression. When the threads got dirty it was harder to adjust.

I had my Camry's suspension so tight it felt like driving a go-kart. Fun, but I'll probably never do it again. I'd rather just go with springs.

btw, be careful about how low you drop the car. I lowered my Camry over 5" and ended up killing the CV joints despite the car being perfectly aligned to be lower. The CV joints were not meant to twist at such a large angle.

I'm sorry still need tires and lugs but here is a teaser of the wheels.... super light around 14 lbs 17x8 +44

As for the drop there is a slight rake look with the back a little lower than the front... not to bad though.
