Well I'm not saying the LSh is the saviour of all hybrid vehicles but you gotta admit, the only thing the DeVille has going for it is the price and it's damn comfortable.

They tried the NightVision which was Caddy's only high tech gadget and for whatever reason, didn't take off. (would've been nice since that'll help Cadillac lead the way). Now the S-Class has it, no idea how that option is faring.

    But what about:

    - proximity entry
    - radar cruise control
    - advanced collision detection systems (both radar and camera)
    - adaptive headlights
    - reverse camera
    - advanced parking guidance system
    - multimedia infotainment systems
    - "comfort" seats with inflatable bladders and side bolsters
    - LED ambient interior lighting
    - reclining ottoman
    - rear entertainment system
    - power rear side sunshades
    - 4-zone automatic climate control with body temperature sensor

and so forth. That's not even touching the hybrid system or the V12s of the Germans.

Again, is it necessary? probably not. But if it helps get the people off the V12s and into a V8 hybrid, that's a start, no? I'm sure you know how much a V12 guzzles.

We have had them in Australia for a while now. There is a 12 month wait from order placement. GS450h can be found for sale on the showroom floor in some dealers, but are also in demand.

Our Motor Show has just finished here, and Lexus was demonstrating the Auto-park feature fitted. It was eerie watching this big, black, silent Lexus reverse park by itself while the driver stuck their hands up through the sunroof!
You have to remember that Prius in Japan has had the auto-park feature available for some time now. It wasn't introduced to Lexus until they were certain the system had no bugs.
