Just glanced at the link - but I saw the word bifacial. Panels called bifacial have solar cells on both sides which means they'd run best if they're standing up on end so that early Sun in the morning runs great 1st half the day - up to the afternoon - then opposite side runs best on that later part of the day once Sun Passes over halfway through the day. The beauty is even if one side is not working ideal, it's still working some. Have been looking into setting up a system vertically on our property

I'm getting the feeling that you can't have solar panels with out batteries or grid tie. I was thinking you could feed the system during the day, and shut them off, but I suppose it would be a problem when they produce more than you use.
