Mac OS ready for prime time?

    Nope - the laptops never break. It's just hard to find an excuse for having more computers here than we have people! :D

    We have lots of Macs at our company, we are almost a mid size company and exclusively used OSX to run our business. So, all business acounting, shipping, web development, databases, spreadhseets, integration with various systems, EDI, etc. are all done on our Macs. Some new Intel based, some not new PowerPC.

    I always despised Windows myself, being a computer programmer for close to 25 years. Was developing in VB at previous job, really really didn't like the environment. Much happier on Macs. And, we spend a heckava lot less time hassling with the machines, and more time actually working.

    But, YMMV of course.
