I replaced my combination meter and I was wondering if this affected the maintenance required light interval. I am past the 4,500 miles when the light should start blinking when starting up the engine. Did the new combination meter reset the interval?

i'm not sure, but it's possible that the fuction is stored in the meter.

i would just do your 5k maintenance at 5k and record it for the next one.

when the message comes on again, record the miles for reference. if you don't mind staring at the message for a while, you could reset it 4500 miles after your 5k maintenance.

The 4500-5000 mile "timer" can be reset at any time, even if it's not on. If it's time, just change the oil and use the normal reset procedure and your OCI will be synched again.
