I was going to say change the oil again. Good thing I held back.

I had a 1977 Ford Granada before my Prius. I like the gas milage of the Prius but the simplicity of the Granada. I like that Mark II as well.

Awesome memories. I had bought a 1977 Grenada for $100 back in my service days. We just called it the 'grenade'. It had issues and probably wasn't worth 50 bucks, lol, but it got me around. Carried 3 gallons of water with me everywhere I went so I could top it off the engine coolant before starting it. I couldn't turn on the headlights unless I was over ~15 mph, otherwise the car would stall out. Once they were on, it would stall out if the car went below ~15 mph. All the times I drove it on the Garden State Parkway, driving from Submarine Base New London to New Jersey to visit family, I'd have to turn the lights off as I approached toll booths. The good ol' days of being broke.....

I was a Lincoln fan boy and a moderator on one of the big Lincoln forums for quite a few years. Especially the 90-97 Panther chassis Town Cars. This 97 Cartier is one I should have kept if I had a bigger garage.
