    i believe this also, the only thing is this shft was delayed 8 years because someone in Florida learned a new counting system on the third try.

    we were welll on our way to viable alternatives, but unfortunately all those plans were derailed... but we will soon be back on track and it will be a much easier road for the new leader....because ya see, Gore would have had a tough uphill battle with everyone except the scientific community...

    now everyone but the most stubborn foolhardy realizes that we have to move on new energy alternatives and fast...

    Solar miles are already cheaper than gasoline miles.

    Eg solar electricity at 20 cents per kWh in an EV means around 4-5 cents per mile.

    But gasoline at $3.50 per gallon and 40 mpg costs around 8.8 cents per mile.

    With nanosolar panels soon coming at around one fifth the cost of the old style panels, people don't realise just how soon or how fast this "rush for solar" is going to be.
