good point. i was thinking the 2011 on hasn't been as bad, but they probably have lower miles overall.

Yup. The 2010 production ran lasted almost 2 full years, not 1 year.

That significantly helped the tradein price of my 2010, which traded in as a 2 year old when it was really 3 years old. Absent that boost, the trade would not have penciled out.

When did 2010 model year become available? I thought it was Aug 2009 - Sept 2010. The 2011 models should've been available in Sept 2010

I had my 2010 in June 2009, and that was more than a month after they hit the streets here in the states.

I seem to remember the 2011 arriving much later than September, possibly not even until January.

My 2010 is manufactured in Sept 2009, and the guy that sold it to me told me he got one of the first ones. I'm not really sure when they were available and many have stated there are more 2010s out there.....I couldn't figure out why if the new year production times in around Sept every year.

2010s arrived quite early, not on the customary North American manufacturer's schedule. U.S.-market production started in March 2009. I don't recall just when JDM production started, but it was earlier.

Ours was manufactured Aug 2009, and we purchased it (still new) in November 2010.
