    Oh come on!

    Does no one else think this is cool? Seriously?!?

    It blew my mind when I tried it. I've never seen an application that interacted with a webcam vid.

    Ok I did it and it actually is pretty cool.
    Try turning it upside down!

    Hold it back about half a metre.

    It's just a gimmick. I look at it as an extension of dancing baloney. It looks cool, and is kind of fun, but doesn't real add much value.

    This appears to be a low-tech application of Microsoft's new "tag" functionality (Microsoft Tag - Linking real life with the digital world). I guess in a way it's kind of cool from a technology standpoint, but would it really have hurt us to have a link to click?

    It's sort of like that Orbitz commercial where they guy delivers the check by hovercraft......mail would have worked just fine. ;)

    I guess I took an extra grumpy pill this morning....

    Bah! Microsoft tag is basically a barcode reader, but the GE site is real-time overlaying of 3D imagery on your webcam video.
