There is no room for clarification. It's intent is spelled out in the Federalist Papers themselves, along with the rest of the wording on the rest of the Consitution.. FOR THE PEOPLE.

Removing the 2nd Amendment, or "clarifying" it as you put it (rolls eyes) would be a direct measure at circumventing a very important part of that document, so yes.. I would take arms.

I'm also glad that someone brought up how the very people that are trying to ban firearms for citizens are the same ones who hire armed men to guard them. So, since they can afford to have someone protect them, it's ok - but for the rest of us.. we're on our own? We can't afford it so we don't get to protect ourselves.

Germs are going to get us long before we have to worry about protecting ourselves with arms. :p

Sorry, I couldn't help it. I liked that book. :)

I've always felt that the founding fathers were refering to flint-lock muzzel loaders. Automatic weapons are something entirely different. I'm in favor of muzzel loaders, besides they might be of some value in Antiques Roadshow. Automatic weapons in the hands of an unstable, and usually untrained populace? I don't think so. Anybody who can load and fire a muzzle loader has my blessings, and presumably our ancestor's, too.

That's why I arm myself with anti-bacterial wipes.

And yes, I DO have a carry permit, and I'm not afraid to use them. :p

Sooo antiquated. I like the extra range a can of Lysol affords me. I do not have a permit though. F' the goverment! I'm exercising my right to privacy. lol

I find the sprays an inelegant weapon. Killing from a distance is not for me; I prefer to look my enemy in the eye (well, okay, they don't have eyes, but no matter).
But that's just what I would expect from a left-wing, neocon, fundamentalist, new-age, right-to life, pacifist, tree-hugging, gun-toting, pro-choice, corporate lackey such as yourself. ;)

Au contraire my dear fellow she not only hired armed security guards to protect herself she carried a .38 in addition to a legal carry permit. Wonder how she got that, double standards abound.

I retract the "neocon" label. You're right, that was unnecessarily harsh. B)

I installed a secured lockbox inside of the center console.. left just enough room to plug in something to AUX.
