Yeah, Opera is good, too. On a scale of 1 - 10, with 10 being best, I rate Chrome a 9.7, Safari on the Mac and Firefox a 9.6, Safari on the PC and Opera a 9.5, and Internet Explorer a 2.3.

I deleted Chrome. I liked it, but then I found out it installed "GEARS" on my computer. I'm not totally sure what Gears does/is, but I seem to remember there are privacy concerns with it. So, it was back to FF.

Again, IE gets dusted off for the rare face-to-face with MS websites.

I find when I use Chrome with Priuschat I'm unable to use smilies.

Huh. I'm on Chrome right now, let me see...  :peep: :( :high5:

Yup, works for me. Which is the first and last time I've used smilies on this board.

When I pulled this up with G Chrome, there was a frickin' advertisement right in the quote!

I wonder if ABP works with Chrome...

Are you sure it was Chrome's fault? I get the ads whenever I'm not logged in.

I may be a bit hard on Chrome - still think they needed to do their homework on cohabitation with Shockwave Flash a lot better.

Checked my Windows updates and there is one for my audio driver (this is associated with the Chrome/Shockwave crashes.)

Also, I had as many as 80 tabs up and reduced them to about 15. ....expecting a: "No wonder you have problems!"

I try not to install a bunch of add-ons, got maybe two for Chrome.

Anyway, I hope between the audio drive update and me not pushing the tabs, the results are better.

Okay, ABP does have a Chrome version. It seems to work.

I'm giving Chrome a (yet, another) testing.

I use a Mac at home, PC at work, and iPhone in bed.

Admittedly I think my work PC is infected with something. IT has already had to clean it out once. Boy was that embarassing. I don't know what it was though. I only used it for Priuschat and mail order brides.

    I am running WinXP/SP3, fully patched, browsing with Mozilla SeaMonkey (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:7.0.1) Gecko/20110928 Firefox/7.0.1 SeaMonkey/2.4.1) and running Avast 6.0.1289.

Avast blocked malware when I opened the Google hit below::

I tried clicking on the link again and Avast did not report this time. Is this a randomly acting worm on the forum?

Is there any software that will clean up the website?

I thought it a responsible action to update this thread.
