    • Model 3 takes the overall prize for both March and YTD.
    • Prius Prime takes the PHEV top honours for March and YTD (1st runner up overall YTD, 2nd runner up overall in March)
    • Volt just edges out Bolt for March but still trails Bolt YTD
    • LEAF has a solid first month (1,500)
    • Clarity PHEV sales increases for March
    • Pacifica and Outlander PHEV posts modest increases for March

    Really nice numbers for march for plug ins. The model 3 disappointed for most of the year, but the end of march saw great production. 2020 in a week for the model 3. That bodes well for really good Q2 and Q3 for tesla, but may sting it in Q4 when tax credits look like they will be down to half.

    The prime did great in march, and one can imagine if toyota does a dedicated phev design in the next generation it could be a real sales winner.

    The shift to the plug-in prius prime, meant the hybrid only prius was beaten by the rav4 hybrid in march

    It will be interesting to follow California plug-in % of market this year, as the new HOV rules could encourage new plug-ins purchases.
