I just bought a 2009 Prius base model. I like the car. The only issue is my mfv shows everything but my touch screen isn't responding. When I want to change things I have to use my steering wheel buttons. Would I need a whole new unit or is there a repair I could do? Is this a common problem?

It's common for people to turn off the screen and have a hard time turning it back on, other than via the controls on the steering wheel. So if that's what it is check your owner's manual on how to turn it on, or be like most people who don't read stuff on paper anymore and start hitting buttons until it comes back on.

Used ones on e bay can be had for cheap also. Just remember to get the same part numbered one.
