Have you placed traps around the garage?

I have 2 still at the entrance they used to use.

Haven't seen any return, but this year we have lizards galore.

They at least don't have the same concerns as mice.

 

Friend with a dog that could drop by?

 

i'll have a talk with the pest guy when he comes next week. there are some black boxes out there. i'm not sure if they are poison, or some sort of tracking device. he told me when he installed them, but i can't remember.
definitely want some traps.

just ordered 64 vicror spring traps and 4 lbs of poison from amazon

 

That's a lot of traps.

Hope that'll get the rascals in your neck of the woods.

We have not seen any of them this year.

Sounds like you're the one and done type.

I reuse.

64 would last a lifetime.

 

yep, i used to buy fancy ones and reuse when we only had a few. now i pick them up with a plastic bag, tie it up and take it to the dump.

that's how my pest control co. does it, so i'm onboard. plus, it's still a lot cheaper than what they charge.

Be cautious with the poison, because the mice seem to die in inaccessible spaces (walls!).
