Gas mile indicator was showing 54 miles when we went to fill up the gas. Gas indicator is at 1/2 full, but indicator is still showing 54 miles to empty tank.

Is there a way to reset the indicator? :)

It should reset and change. Did you put more than 2-3 gallons? If you don't put enough to do a fill up there is a chance it doesn't recognize you filled up.

It may reset after a couple of starts. This happened when topping off the tank to full not just adding a gallon or 2 at the bottom. Don't believe MTE. It'll go to 0 pretty early.

Why wouldn't you top it off?

Oh... we are planning a trip to Philly, and gas price is 50 cents cheaper in NJ than in NY. We plan to fill up the tank in NJ on our way to Philly.
