    I'm $76 + $38 = $114 into a mod'd leather and vinyl cover for the moment.

    Don't want PVC / vinyl.

Carid site looks a bit sketchy - see below, they mention simulated leather or suede, nothing about genuine leather.

Anyone heard about other brands Coverking, Leathercraft, Caltrend, GT Covers?

All ever hear about on Priuschat is Clazzio.

This site says $549 for genuine leather ...
    Leather-Type Clazzio Leather Seat Covers
"Yes, this is GENUINE LEATHER. We offer leather in one style only, and that is perforated. Leather Seat Covers have been our NUMBER ONE SELLER since we opened in 2008! "
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    http://www.carid.com/2010-toyota-prius-seat-covers/clazzio-custom-pvc-seat-covers-11990879.html
site above says $450 for 'simulated leather' , see below...
"Toyota Prius Two / Three 2010-2011, PVC Custom Seat Covers by Clazzio®. Two-Row Set. Maintain or increase the value of your vehicle while you add a look of luxury, sport, or comfort with this set of form-fitting custom seat covers. Available in simulated leather or suede, and stylish PVC vinyl"

 Totally confused by carid.com .... simuated leather (aka PVC vinyl insert?) OR suede, AND PVC vinyl body??

Buyer beware ordering clazzio leather through carid.com

Funny how the usually the only brand of leather seat covers mentioned on Priuschat is Clazzio ...

when sites like carid.com also show Coverking, Caltrend , Leathercraft and there is also GT Covers which Toyota and Honda dealers are quick to mention, but no one around here talks about them .... weird.

Clazzio is heavily promoted and sponsored at various events including car shows and has acquired a great reputation among car enthusiasts. I never see sponsors from other brands at car shows (unless I go to all the wrong shows). People here usually do their research and select products based on reviews and reputation. I'd be wary of any brands that dealers are quick to mention, as dealers are usually in for the $$$ and don't necessarily care about quality.

Nevertheless, any brands that carid offers should be better than your existing baggy seat covers with huge gaping holes ;)

We'll see if I get in the mood to put more lipstick ($$) on the pig (the '60% adjustable' driver's seat)

Nah, I like this cover, how it covers up the left side height and seatback controls.

No sense in continuing to mess around with the height lever, thinking it will actually adjust the seat the way I would like it. No, that is an exercise in futility.

Not just here. The ScionLife community is crazy about them too.
They're relatively inexpensive and fit wonderfully.
