Minnesota moves to get more electric vehicles on roads

We have some time before this takes effect, but we finally got this process started.
Looking forward to doubling the number of options for AFVs in the state :)

Minnesota has always been an interesting political arena.
Most of the time we have a split government. Neither party controls both houses and the governor’s office.
Like most of the nation, Minnesotan’s are getting more and more fed up with the politicians, and fall for a character.

That said, we have a long road ahead of us. 18 months of input from the public.
Battle lines are being drawn already.
My understanding is the Governor can implement this on his own. But if the legislature doesn’t act the put it into law the next governor can easily undo it.

I heard this om the radio yesterday. Definitely good news! And they are framing it as a 'consumer choice' type of thing to get bipartisan support ( i.e. - we ain't taking away your trucks  ). Of course, they had some yahoo spokesperson from a dealer network spouting off about increase costs for dealers, etc ( assuming i heard correctly )...which made no sense at all to me. Th real reason the spokesperson was spouting off is because the established dealers are probably fearing increased competition.

More likely it was fear of lower service revenue with more plug ins on the road.
