    Hey Everyone,

I was just wondering if this is something normal or if I should try and have the dealer fix/replace my stock head unit. In the bluetooth setup menu, there are no buttons to add a new phone, or delete a new phone etc, just the phones that were already paired. I spent multiple car trips trying to figure out how to pair my new phone, and then today I went to the same setup menu and magically the add/delete buttons where there, and I was able to pair my phone. I went back to the menu out of curiosity, and they were gone again. Anyone else have this happen?

    thanks

Car stopped vs moving when buttons are present or not?

Thanks FrankB that was it! If the car isn't moving the buttons appear. I guess a safety issue, but it doesn't quite make sense since you can touch all kinds of other buttons when driving. Thanks for your help!
