    Well worth the time:


    • Adjusting the stator field angle relative to rotor as a function of speed
    • Moving permanent magnets deeper into the rotor to reduce high speed back EMF
    • Segmented permanent magnets to reduce eddy currents
    Many of the these features were described in some of the Oakwood analysis of Prius motors BUT without the clever visualization of the YouTube video.
