Tesla won't allow Supercharger access, for pay or not, until other companies provide reciprocal agreements to Tesla for a comparable Supercharger network. Other companies are reluctant to do that because of the staggering cost for infrastructure. They are shooting themselves in the foot (or zapping themselves in the trunk).

Or they may not easily change and even more countries get aboard the bandwagon and embrace the FUTURE.

I agree, I wish Toyota had stuck with their BEV program and be an industry leader today. This decision to abandon their BEV program will go down in history as the biggest failure in management in the failure to recognize a trend (along with the atrocious designers who head their design department). Where is Toyota's BEV product for sale today?

 

Toyota and Japan had the same commodity as the rest of the world, it's called the SUN. Japan is the country of the rising sun. It was a boneheaded error on the part of Toyota upper management not to recognize this.

What is Toyota's BEV? Are there even any concept pictures? Now they are years behind the competition.

Yeah, I already saw that. I had trouble determining what he called a flaw. For example, he said the door handles were hard to use and then he demonstrated by opening the door easily. I have tried the door handles a number of times and they are quite easy to use. FWIW, the reviewer's biggest clients are the big three automakers.
