    I need to do that,got some scratches,and I wanted to remove the emblems.Did you take off panel?Where did
    you get the covering?

    You definitely have to remove the panel. This requires removal of the lower, inner trim for access to four (4) retainer nuts. After that you carefully pop the off the panel. It has 1/2 dozen or so plastic retainer clips. You'll see them after the inner panel is removed. The are light blue so you can recognize them.

    The material is 3M and it is available all over the internet. I purchased mine from Metro Restyling: (888) 488-4695

    BZzap! When you removed the PRIUS and HYBRID emblems, are there holes on the panel that holds them? I'm asking because I want the holes to be my guide when I put the emblems back.

    Yes. The "Prius" name plate has only one index tab on one end. It's up to you to measure the other end before affixing .

    Had a really hard time getting the top of that panel back under that rubber lip .Any tips or tricks?

    Tape a piece of string along the width of the panel on the back side. Gently pull it out from under the rubber molding.
