I am confused regarding the monthly fuel consumption record display. I see that there is a number beneath the bar for each month, which, if I am reading the manual correctly, states the total miles driven that month. As of April 3rd (the last time I checked, as I've avoided the display out of frustration since then), my April miles were listed nearly as high as my March miles - which is certainly incorrect.

Am I misunderstanding what this number represents, or is there a malfunction?

Is there any way to clear or reset this month's fuel consumption record miles?

Would disconnecting the 12 volt accomplish this?

It might have other side consequences, but might give you what you are looking for.

I disconnected mine when I worked on the brakes and that data stayed, iirc. And, even if it did clear it, it would clear it all, not just the current month.
