Do you know if thhere is an open/close or solar roof option in a 2015 Prius v (lowercase v for the Prius v wagon) model? We really want the moonroof but heard the car can get pretty hot in the summer. Thanks.

The Prius v has a fixed moonroof. It does not open. It does have sunshades.

I don't think our Prius v wagon gets any hotter inside than other vehicles we own/have owned as long as the panoramic roof sunshades are closed. When the shades are open on a hot sunny summer day, the sun can feel awfully hot to me but my wife has the shades open whenever she drives. She seems to like the pano roof a lot. Nothing says that you have to open the shades all the time or even all the way. One of the benefits of the pano roof for us is that we can look upward when we park in our garage to verify that we are in far enough so that the garage door will close while leaving the maximum amount of space in front of the car. I only open the pano roof shades while parking and occasionally when the weather is cool but I doubt that I have driven the Prius v 1,000 miles in the three years we've had it.

There is no opening or solar roof option.
The car gets no hotter with the moon roof than it does without one.
