I got my car (Prius 2016) 5 months ago. Recently I noticed resonate noise during idling or low speed running.Usually in the cab, this resonate noise is like from sub woofer which is quite unpleasant. But after I start moving the car, the sound almost disappear or change to very light. Anyone had the same problem? or any ideas?

I believe I hear the same vibration, low speed and cold engine, Almost sounds like a heat shield. But it comes and goes. I'm not to concerned, it can not be found until it gets worse.

    For me, just half year.
I meant during idling, the engineer sometimes running and make sound, but the resonate noise is louder (now winter) than when I had this car at the beginning(summer).

it runs at higher rpm's for warmup during colder weather. hard to diagnose on the net, you'd have to make a clear recording, or try test driving another. these engines are noisy by nature.

There is a small amount of "rougher" running during one of the warm up phases IIRC, but not like the video above, that is certainly not normal, I would be at the dealers with that one.

My wife had the same problem on her 2016 when she backed into a rock. This was a month after buying it new. What happened was the tailpipe got pushed back and caught the plastic underbody. The middle of the exhaust system shifted to one side and compressed like a spring. With the exhaust pushed up against the heat shield the engine vibration transmitted to inside the car. $tealer mechanic wanted $2800 until I looked at it on their lift. Fix took a minute and was free: with a crowbar push the tailpipe back and down to release it from the plastic.
