How about adding A Fish Called Wanda to the list of comedies?

    That's pretty cool!

I had the honor of being an extra in a TV mini-series that was shot in my hometown of Richmond, VA, back in the '80s. It was called The Murder of Mary Phagan, and turned out decent as those things go. But the best part of it for me was meeting this really cool actor who was just starting out.

We were shooting outdoors, and it rained pretty hard. Most of the actors kept to themselves, but this one decided to hang with the extras and crew. As everything was drying out, he lead several of us to a quiet spot and showed us what Tai Chi was all about. Years later, Kevin Spacey became one of the biggest name (and best) actors around!!!

Which brings me back to the topic:

Any Spacey movie. My faves include the Ref, American Beauty, and that masterpiece The Usual Suspects. Oh, and he's gonna play Lex Luthor in Superman Returns.

Ditto! Also, Glengarry Glen Ross, L.A. Confidential, and The Negotiator.

Oh yeah, my daughter wanted to see Syriana so I took her. In one scene, Clooney is tied to a chair while two of his fingernails are pulled out. IMO, he got off easy compared to us having to suffer through that debacle.........and he didn't have to pay 19 bucks, either.

Arguably the funniest comedy of the last 20 years.

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (with Pia Zadora!)

I don't know if I'd find it that hilarious "straight" -- but it made for one of the very finest Mystery Science Theater 3000 episodes I've ever seen.

"Ahhh... Mr. Claus, you have a nasty habit of surviving!"

I'm still trying to figure out if Voltar is played by Elliot Gould...

Plus, the famous "Patrick Swayze Christmas" routine.

Open up your heart and let the Patrick Swayze Christmas in...
