I have slightly over 1000 on my new Prius and have been resetting the Trip Counter A at the last couple fill-ups. But the display doesn't show the MPG. How can this be fixed?

    thanks,

    John

When it's over this can't be fixed. Have a glance at Trip B .
I only reset Trip A when screen HSD is on.

change the display to the HSI mode (where it shows you the big bar with the divider in the middle). Then hit the trip button till you see trip A. Following that bottom line there will be "Cons." The number next to that is your MPG since the last reset. Hope this is what you are asking about.

I have never seen mine where the BEST mpg and miles are not displayed. By chance, was this immediately after resetting Trip A? Even then I believe it should be displaying. If it remains blank, I would show it to the dealer at your next visit.

Many thanks to posters above. When filling the tank yesterday I reset the Trip A counter while on HSI screen the MPG's began to show up.
