No, there are online OEM parts warehouses that sell Toyota OEM parts, and will be much less than the dealer. Do a search online.

JC9106 is right and I see the same thing here in my locale. Lots of companies pushing glass now. Chinese I bet.
If its really cheap somethings gotta give!

No Cyberprius hit it with the junkyard suggestion. Only issue is alot of top companies won't install someone's else's glass and difficult to do diy properly without the proper tools and experience. So somewhat of a catch 22.

    Hello cyberpriusII,

Just came back to thank you for your suggestion. I did get the glass from the junk yard. Actually, I had tried sometime ago and they did not have it. I tried again last week, they had a windshield from a crashed 08 Prius. He quoted me 100 $, when I went there to inspect, it had a slightest of scratch so he took out 20 $ on it.

He also recommended a installer, shipped it free to him (he was some 5 miles away). I got it installed for 80 $, had to pay another 20 $ for the glass moulding. So, 80 + 80 + 20, for 180 $ I have toyota windshield, thanks for your suggestion.

    Regards
    Ash

Glad it worked for you. Out of the many dozens of thoughts I have thrown at this board over the years, I think two of them have been correct!

Hey, Bisco. Off-topic, of course, but seeing you are from Boston and I am a Robert Parker fan and read all his books, what would Spenser do in this situation.
