My 2010 prius won't start

    I have a 2010 prius. I was only going to roll down the windows as i wait, parked, for my significant other to finish some errands and it wouldn't turn on. I kept pressing and pressing but it wouldn't turn on. I tried pressing the gas pedal to turn everything on but nothing. Now my check engine like is on and my prius won't stop making a humming sound. You're guys is help is greatly appreciated.

    you need a new 12 volt battery.

    Try jump start it with the positive connector inside the fuse box in your car's front engine bay,
    then negative connect to your car body (bolt).
