I ordered Prime in August. I never heard anything from a dealer and probably will get 2024 sometime next year.

Very nice car. What is the panoramic view and advanced park features exactly?

Thank you. Those are both pretty cool.

A shame they bundle those features only with Limited trim... (Canada, anyway)

The 2024 has the different passenger seat door handles.

Where did you hear that? I don't think that's correct.

This might be a bit of a silly question, but where in the multimedia display menu (or MID menu) can one change the volume of the chime? I looked through the manual, but I can’t seem to locate that information?

Also, while looking for this information in the manual, I came across a number of customizations that can be only done at the dealer. One that I’m specifically interested in is automatically turning on the headlamps when the wipers are activated. Has anyone done this and is it as useful as it sounds?

Yeah, but how is that different from the 2023?

Same as the 2023. No change.

I heard the 2024 exterior lock/unlock chime is different. Can we hear it?

I don't think it is, but I'm happy to be proven wrong. I think that bit of info came from a misinterpretation of the 2024 press release. In it, it said the 2024 had a new chime, but I think they were referring to the same chime that's on the 2023. The newness was just that the gen5 chime is so different than the old-school "chirps" from most every other car.

But I could be wrong since I haven't encountered a 2024 yet to check.

Maybe a 2024 owner can listen to this and tell us if theirs is different:
