my battery randomly just dies

    My 2008 Prius simply refuses to start randomly. I have replaced the standard battery so I am guessing I have problems with more expensive battery. Is this a symptom of the main battery dying? and suggestions on how to best get the battery replaces or should I try replacing the modules first?

    welcome!
    no, the hybrid battery doesn't even come into play until the car boots up and the dash goes through the health check and you get the ready light.
    it is more likely a connection at the 12v. check the voltage and make sure the connections are clean and tight. especially neg to ground
