Electrify America has changed the startup fee (at least for the stations around me). It is now $1 instead of $5. Still 35 cents a minute after that.

That sounds a little more reasonable. Still somewhat expensive, but it's a move in the right direction. Cheaper for quicker charge vehicles, such as Niro, Kona, and iPace.

.... & given that no vehicles charge at 350kW, it is sort of a moot point, at least for a few more years - if ever. don't forget who's saying how fast their one & only charge stall actually is.

I just use PlugShare. Filter for quick charger minus Tesla and you'll find a bunch in the middle of the country.

That is where Electrify America seemed to start, across some of the interstate expanses in the Midwest and some in the south. We are more spread out around here so we need quick chargers a bit more than others, IMO. And obviously they don't need them in Cali as much as we do here.

To the other question, I figure that was a bit of ribbing. :) I can go days sometimes and never see another EV other than my own. (and I even live in a fairly progressive and/or liberal city in the Midwest)
