You Canuks are priceless. Read the facts. Don't assume anything. I'm going to try another thread because this is a real and potential issue for all DRCC Prius Prime/other owners. I'd like TMS to address this issue as well.

That sounds like expected behavior. You had your speed set faster than he was driving so DRCC could keep you in contact, so when he pulled into the other lane, it saw the road clear in front of you and started to accelerate to the setpoint. What else should it do? What did you expect it to do differently?

Wrong again. Speed set at 70mph. Read the thread. Don't bother to reply.

You said the van was going 70 and that you were following with DRCC. That means your setpoint had to be faster than 70 or any little flutuation in the van's speed would have caused you to drop back and not catch up.

He is not wrong. You are, and being a jerk about it is not a great idea.

You do realise we're trying to help you and we're asking questions cause we need clarification (we're not all sitting in the passenger seat of your car).

Again, if YOU were travelling at 70mph (and you claim you set the DRCC at 70mph) and the VAN was travelling at 70mph and then passed a vehicle (which you then said you also changed to follow the van), then please tell me HOW can the car travel faster than the van if you claim you're doing 70mph.

Why would the car accelerate past YOUR set speed of 70mph? (unless it was a obvious downhill... sometimes the CC holds the speed, sometimes, it has some leeway and lets it roll a few mph higher).

Again, we're trying to figure this one out WITH you. You have to be willing to answer follow-up questions if you post a question and you want it answered.

Otherwise, like you said, we won't reply (per your instructions) and you can figure out the problem on your own.

I am sure you are more focused on the traffic around you than keeping that Van in the DRCC target zone and following it as it changes lanes! :D

I use the trip button on the steering wheel to cycle to the MPG for the current time period the car has been on.
