count me into the really-friggin-loud music crowd :)

i hate to say it but i've damaged my own hearing from one (or 10) too many concerts.

what i really enjoy is cranking up the ipod and belting out a good song while getting my experiments ready... only on weekends when noone else is around of course.

I have no guilt. I like red meat cooked rare. I like loud rock and roll. I still play guitar in public once in awhile. I like watching bikinis at the beach and I like my O'Douls. I like hot dogs and bratwurst, and every years I try to get at least one big fat sausage cooked in grease at a fair and smothered in onions and peppers.

I like the idea of a "free" America where Darwinism allows us to progress if ever so slightly.

Food-wise, it's anything maple flavored. Maple fudge, Purity Daries' Maple Walnut ice-cream, Little Debbie's Maple creme pies, Quaker maple rice cakes. Oh! Just recently discovered maple cinnamon bagle chips in Kroger produce dept. YUM.

One of my guilty...Listening to Virgil Fox on the Rodgers Touring Organ (which he helped design).

I'm about to buy my fifth vintage sewing machine.

And I decorated my house in vintage eBay. (Light fixtures, furniture, glassware)

I cannot watch any movies or read any books where the dog dies.

But do you wear leather, withersea? :p

Forget the guilt. How about just for pleasure...? A bubble bath, candles, a nice cabernet, graham crackers and a can of chocolate frosting. Not necessarily in that order.

And- I don't really feel guilty about it unless I add crabcakes or choclate!

Leather is optional. Although sometimes I do wear it in the bubble bath, washing down graham crackers with a very nice cabernet while spreading chocolate frosting all over myself. I usually listen to Motorhead while doing this. No guilt at all. I thought everyone had a variation of the chocolate, head banging, wino, graham cracker bubble bath??

No guilt over Motorhead? Really? ;) I'm sorry to hear that. :D How about Enigma? And not just everyone can achieve such a variation of the chocolate, head banging, wino, graham cracker bubble bath. It takes a special sort to rise to such an occasion!

Count me in for the stale food. Popcorn, peeps, circus peanuts, graham crackers, Lucky Charms, etc. I think it's a texture thing, but we won't get into that. :p

Me too! I crank the iPod up for running, housework, yardwork, etc. I put one earbud in at work on the side that you can't see and listen while at my desk. Covert iPod Operations. It's kinda like that cereal commercial where the crunching drowns out the person talking to you. There is no telling what I've agreed to. Hell I may not even work here anymore.

It is a texture thing...I can't eat bananas without gagging...but I like banana flavoring ;)

I also like stale graham crackers, because they don't make a mess like the fresh ones do.

You're probably right. I can't stand coconut, but I like the flavor. ;)

Homeade brand Chocolate Chip cookie dough ice cream. For that matter, just about any snack food not good for me. I finally had to admit it and not keep any junk food in the house...I cannot resist...so now, if my wife is away and it is just me, I will go to the store and buy some snacks (the sweeter and gooeyer the better) and eat them, then I hide the wrappers under the trash to avoid discovery.

BOY, am I glad she doesn't think much of PC and is unlikely to read this........

Oh yeah, Ice Cream and cookies is definitely a guilty pleasure. I have no fewer than 3 flavors in the freezer at any given time. Top 3 faves are Maple Walnut (of course), Lime Sherbet--served with Oreo cookies, and Heavenly Hash Frozen Yogurt, with Do-Si-Do's crushed into it.
