My Optimus Prime got attacked!

    Ask them to give you back this part. Odds are the sensors are good. Not sure that you can do anything with them but you can see if they seem to be easily interchangeable which might allow you to replace a sensor if in the future one gets damaged or fails. Unless they have to be programmed or something, would need to check that in the service manual. but you can figure all that out later but now is your only chance to get your hands on these sensors.

    Also I realize insurance is covering it but anything you can find out about why the sensors have to be replaced when apparently just the center of the grille is cracked. Maybe they are permanently fixed into the grill? That would be bad. Or maybe since it's considered a safety feature they are forced to be overcautious if they don't have a way to verify that the sensors weren't damaged. Ask the service manager if he can find out.
