Hey guys. Hope you all doing good.
I purchased a 2014 G Touring Edition. I simply love this car. At first it’s giving me 23Km/L but after 25,000km, now it’s giving me 18Km/L. Oil change on time.
Actually i felt that my Car Eco Mode is not working properly. When i push pedal in Eco mode, it should be little hard. But No! It’s as smooth as riding a car in power mode. Im so tensed! No error codes, No warning signs, Nothing!
    Help require please.

    welcome!
eco mode doesn't really save more gas than careful driving. and hvac suppression can be duplicated with manual settings.
so try that and see what mpg you get. if no improvement, look for other causes. dragging brake, tires pressure, clogged filters, gas reformulation and etc.

btw, does the eco light come on?

    all the best!(y)

Thanks dear. I will check the dragging brake factor because at low speed i felt a weird sound from front. I mean something’s stucked, sound comes in and out. Will tell you the results afterwards. Thanks for the reply
    Cheers!

I checked my ride, and found a Brakepads draging sound with disc. The dealership said it’s normal but it’s not normal to me. May be the friction dtopping the milleage. Any thoughts?

Maybe a rock or something is caught in the caliper. Pads will rub on the rotor under normal driving.
I guess rest is a better word? This is normal. Actually hearing them, is not.
The caliper may be sticking. Have you cleaned the guide pins?

agreed, they may rub very lightly, not enough to hear, or wear anything.

Is this the front or rear brakes?

if you have the rear wheels raised, parking brake released, and give the wheel a good push, it should free-spin one or two revolutions before stopping. There is "some" drag inherent, just the nature of disc brakes.

Front brakes are really hard to check for drag, due to being connected to the driveshafts.

I would suggest to feel all four wheels immediately after an extended drive, see if any feel particularly hot, which would be a sign of excessive drag. Slightly warm is not unusual, in particular if they all feel about the same.

That grah sound is sorted. It’s coming from the tires or alloys but not from discs.

I’ve been using Engine Oil 0-20W Total Quartz. Is there any possibility that oil decreases the mileage or eco mode is not working as it should be?
Or Inverter Collent Level is a little above to Full?

As it shows, collant level should be in between F and L.
Dealership pour some extra and it’s not a little above F. Does that affect the issue?

if there were a battery issue, you would get the red triangle of death. how is the 12v health?

i don't think fluid level matters, but syphon some out anyway.
oil should be fine as long as it is not above full
