My ScanGauge user manual

    As Jim said, that is fixed by setting the hybrid mode. Oddly, it's not under engine type, but fuel: MORE > SETUP > FUEL > TYPE.

    There's a difference between version 3.15 and 3.15*, find your version at MORE > MORE > MORE > VERSION. Some of the passive codes don't seem to work on 3.15*, but it may not be that simple and clearcut.

    Here are links to PriusChat and cleanmpg threads with a lot of detail on people discovering what works and what doesn't. I haven't had the time to do a lot of my own research (beyond reading the threads and trying out a few codes for myself), so I just tried to consolidate and collate the information available for people at the early and intermediate stages of using the ScanGauge.

    I've had battery volts working fine as a passive CAN read on
    my 3.15 for a while now; if you have the same version I'll dig
    up what I banged into the xgauge and post it since *my* notes
    on it aren't ready at hand either. But I think if you've got
    that "3.15*" you're basically hosed on passive reads.

    It would be nice if, after this much time, there was a path to
    reflashing these things with updated code. Unless it's burned
    into OTP memory and hard-soldered down to the board...
