Wait for all those expired leased Volts come back to the dealers' lots. Watch what happens to the Volts' depreciation - drops like a rock.

If I were a Volt owner concerned about the resale value of my car, I'd be more concerned about the effect of Volt 2.0 in the short term and Tesla Gen 3 in the long term.

It's all a matter of interpretation. If you were an unlucky early adopter then I would be worried. Those of us who saved well over $10k in incentives expect a huge depreciation but since we already pocketed the money who cares?

The savvy care. They can get a used Volt for a steal, at rock bottom prices.
