Nav disc sticky thread made (Version + Part Number)

    can tideland or someone else make a sticky permanent thread that shows the different generations of toyota nav units and the correct discs that they need (the U numbers)?? thanks

    I've run at least 5 different searches and can't find a thread that shows the correct U numbers for gen 4

    The U number for the 2011 update is U26.

    Remember,
    For the 2004-2005 models, the Nav is Gen 4.
    For the 2006-2009 models, the Nav is Gen 5.

    The latest dataset is 11.1, out since this October.

    The discs have multiple part numbers - so Toyota can sell as replacement part,
    loose part, etc.

    10.1 (2010 update) Lexus part#
    2004-2005 86271-GEN04-10 86271-48240 DVD U25 464210-1700 PT219-GEN04-10
    2006-2009 86271-GEN05-10 86271-53025 DVD U35 464210-1711 PT219-GEN05-10

    11.1 (2011 update) Lexus part#
    2004-2005 86271-GEN04-11 86271-48241 DVD U26 464210-1900 PT219-GEN04-11



    http://www.lexusnavigation.com/pdf_docs/Lexus-Nav-Quick-Ref-Sheet03102011215831.pdf shows the color coding of the dots on Toyota/Lexus nav DVDs. Gen 4 is red dots.
