Actually, lensovet, I got mine in late Sept. :) Though admittedly, I was originally told March...

For whatever reason, Canada doesn't seem to be a PiP priority for Toyota, as per Canadian sales figures here. If you (or anyone reading this) knows who I might talk to at Toyota's corporate offices to change this, please let me know! Early adopters await! :)

Pshaw, I'm just a Prius fanatic and been that way for the past 10+ years…I have absolutely no contacts at Toyota. But you could try reaching out to the "Prius Team" user here on the forums via PM.

I just got back from a very confusing drive. I set a destination and took me to wrong address. Since I knew it was wrong, I looked for the road. It wasn't there. I looked for the shopping area it was in - not there. I looked for a business nearby and followed the route and took me into a sparsely populated area of that same town that was thickly wooded. How does navigation get these addresses?

I am interested, though, in these updates because the shopping development that opened 2 years ago was not in the navi system.

Seems like Garmin with Lifetime Maps Updates is the most economical way to go with map updates. Plus the Garmin GPS units usually have the speed limits on all my roads as an added bonus. No one at my Toyota garage ever mentioned anything about map updates on my 2012 Prius PHEV.
