Navigation stuck at "System Loading" loop

    Hello, I currently have a 2006 Prius with the built in navigation. Today when I start up the car, the map display is in a repeated loop of "System Loading.... Don't turn power off"

    It has been working since I got the car, and I have done a map update a couple years back but it has been working until now. Everything else in the display appears to work (Engine screen, Weather, Audio, etc).

    Is my navigation DVD dead? :( or is it something more serious before I go ahead and get another one?

    Try cleaning the DVD and putting it back into the drive. If that doesn't work, try power cycling the Nav unit.
