Navigation Unit "Unable to read data"

I just had this problem happen to me 30 minutes ago. For some reason it would say loading do not turn power off and then the screen would mess up and it would keep repeating that message. I tried to remove the disc but it didn't pop out i think i'm doing that part wrong i can't remember how i changed the disc the first time.

 

Apologies for bumping an old thread, but does anyone know what this part is about:
"Then I removed the top off, blew it out with compressed air. Put the top part of DVD unit back on. Then I did a master reset by going into the diagnostic menu."

How do you remove the top part of the DVD? Does it mean removing the entire unit? Or does it simply mean making the front of the screen flip (to remove or put cd in)?

I own a used Gen3 (2010 Prius III) and would appreciate any help. Thanks!
