Need diagrams for replacing driver’s window switch

    The rear passenger window goes down, but not up from the driver’s door switch. It works fine from the passenger door. Toyota wants to replace the entire switch, but since it was working for about 8 months (we bought it used) and sudently stoped working. I am thinking that it just might be a loose cable conection or a dirty contact. I am looking for any Toyota diagrams or home-made videos for taking the switch from the door, in order to use some electronics spray cleaner and checking the connections. But I do not want to break any plastic clips or parts in the process. Thanks a lot in advance.

    There was a TSB I remember seeing about not using silicone sprays like Armorall around Toyota switches like your power window switches. It must insulate them and cause a bad connection by the way it reads.
    I know some people spray that stuff right on the switches instead of on a rag to wipe it around.

    Sorry I can't help you on switch removal.

    Thanks for the reply. I never spray directly, just on a microfiber cloth.
