Want My MPG, which can either be:

    (I) Want My MPG

    or

Want My MPG(?) (it's most likely to mean this)

Hey, if you can have 8, you could have OUTATIME, although that one was probably taken a long time ago. :)

as in: "3.2 Jigawatts for the Flux Capacitor!" but it's already taken here in CA

If you have symbols you could have either ICE+BATT or BATT+ICE. If you have only 7 spaces, just drop the extra "T." If you don't have symbols, but put a space there.

Nice to meet you, too. Your plate is obvious. 'Pious' fits perfectly.

Yes, I also agree that PIOUS would be a pretty good fit for you, Norman.

    Sigh.

Seems we're heading towards FHOP territory here, but oh well.

It's very disheartening to hear that you would want someone to go to hell because they disagree with one of your beliefs.

This isn't replacing the regular plate in Indiana either, this is a specialty plate, but unlike every other specialty plate, this one is free, paid for by all citizens of Indiana. :( I even liked one of the top four finalists chosen for this plate, but of course, the one picked was the one that had GOD in the largest letters! My wife picked that out the second she saw the finalists, lol.

Unfortunately, I do believe zealotry like this is becoming more of a trend.

Hey, if this is going to descend into a typical FHOP thread... :p

Speaking of mythology... Washington never chopped down the cherry tree, nor did he utter those words. The story was made up. It was literary license taken by Weems to illustrate the idea that Washington was always a very honest person, and that his father taught him to value truth over and above the fear of repercussions.

    I ordered
    NOSMUG-I
for my little red "Horta". It would have read better with an additional space, but NY only allows 8 characters.

I've got to agree, fundamental would be a good fit.

I don't really like vanity plates - especially those that are too on the nose - but here are some suggestions.

Some people at work think my car looks like a shark and/or turtle and have suggested those as plates. I think that LNDSHRK is better.

STEALTH has been suggested, for obvious reasons, as has DOORSTP. Along those lines I like WEDGIE.

I like the plays on electricity, like WATTSUP and GOTVOLTS (need 8 for that one) and NOPLUG, but those are already in use... maybe GOINOHM or VOLTWGN (that might ruffle a few feathers, but you seem to like that :D )
